CERN Large Hardon Collider Just Got 10 Times More Powerful

The Large Hadron Collider is the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator. It first started up on 10 September 2008, and remains the latest addition to CERN’s accelerator complex. Scientists claim the upgrade would help in boosting luminosity of proton-smashing experiments at the Large Hadron Collider.
